Eligibility for UPSC Exam
Educational Qualification | To appear in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, the candidate must have at least a graduation degree in any stream from a university recognized by the Central or State Government. To give UPSC exams it is also mandatory for the candidate to complete graduation i.e. studying in the last year of graduation i.e. last semester. |
UPSC Exam Age Limit | There are different age limits for different categories to give UPSC:- For general category candidates: The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 32 years. And general category candidates can attempt the UPSC exam maximum of 6 times. There will be an age relaxation of 5 years for the applicants from the ST/SC category. And minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is up to 37 years. Applicants from Other Backward Classes will have an age relaxation of 3 years. Salary after passing the UPSC Exam
As we have already told that exams are taken for different posts for Union Public Service Commission i.e. the salary of different posts is also different. Talking about the Indian Foreign Service, their salary depends on their rank from 12750 to 90000. If we talk about the Indian Forest Service, then their salary ranges from 15600 to 67000. Talking about the Indian Revenue Service, their per month salary is up to 80000. The salary of the Indian Railway Traffic Service is around 1.5 Lakhs. UPSC Exam Process
Union Public Service Commission exam is organized in 3 phases: Preliminary exam, Main exam, and Interview.

- Main Examination- The candidate who passes the Preliminary examination needs to attempt this exam as the next hurdle.
