The Delhi government has sought applications for a Rs 5000 scheme for financial assistance for holders of public service vehicle badges and valid driving licenses of a valid transport service to reduce the financial hardship caused during the lockdown due to the novel coronavirus COVID-19. The coronavirus has created havoc in India and many people have been infected many people have also died due to which the lockdown has shut down all industries. People have left their homes. Due to this, the biggest problem is being faced by those workers working hard every day and earning a living. To provide financial assistance to those people and to improve the condition of their families, the State Government has implemented the Delhi 5000 Driver Yojana 2021.
