UPTET Notification 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:
- An applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Applicants belonging to Nepal/ Bhutan /Tibet are also eligible to apply for UPTET 2023.
Academic Qualification for Primary Level -Class 1 to 5th:
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks + 2 years Diploma in Education (D.Ed)
OR
Bachelor’s degree + 2 years BTC/CT (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)
OR
Bachelor’s degree + Special BTC. Training
OR
Bachelor’s degree + 2 years BCT Urdu special training in Uttar Pradesh
OR
Bachelor’s degree + Diploma in Teaching (For Urdu Teacher)
Academic Qualification for Upper Primary level- Class 6 to 8th:
Bachelor’s degree + BTC
