SSC CHSL Tier 1 Syllabus 2023
The Staff Selection Commission has started the registration process for Data Entry Operator, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Personal Assistant (PA), and JSA jobs from 01st February 2023. The last date for the submission of the online application form is 07th March 2023. All applicants have to write the 60 minutes for the tier 1 exam for a total of 200 marks. 100 Multiple Objective Type (MCQ) Questions will be asked from General Knowledge (GK), Reasoning, English, and Mathematics. 1/2 mark will be deducted as a negative marking for each wrong answer. Candidates, who qualified for tier 1 will be called for the Tier 2 exam (Descriptive Paper) of 100 marks. For final selection, you have to pass the Tier 3 exam as applicable.

SSC CHSL (10+2) Exam Pattern 2023 Tier 1, 2 & 3
Tier 1 Exam Pattern: –
- A total of 100 questions will be asked in Tier 1 exam. Each question will carry 2 marks. Questions will come from GK, Reasoning, Maths, and English subjects.
- For each wrong answer, 1/2 mark will be deducted as negative marking.
- The exam will be online and the paper will be in both Hindi and English languages.
- Time duration of this exam is 60 minutes i.e. 1 hour.
Tier 1 Exam Pattern in Hindi: –
टियर 1 परीक्षा में कुल 100 प्रश्न पूछे जाएंगे| प्रत्येक प्रश्न 2 नंबर होगा| प्रश्न जीके, रीजनिंग, गणित तथा अंग्रेजी विषय से आएँगे| प्रत्येक गलत उतर के लिए 1/2 अंक नेगेटिव मार्किंग के तोर पर काट लिया जाएगा| परीक्षा ऑनलाइन होगी तथा पेपर हिंदी तथा अंग्रेजी दोनों भाषाओँ में होगा|
Tier 2 Exam Pattern in English & Hindi
- Tier 2 exam will be pen and paper-based and in this exam, you will have to write an ESSAY of 200 to 250 words and a letter or application of 150 to 200 words.
- The exam will be offline only and you will get 60-60 minutes for this 100 marks exam.
टियर 2 परीक्षा पेन तथा पेपर बेस्ड होगी तथा इस परीक्षा में आपको 200 से 250 शब्द का ESSAY तथा 150 से 200 शब्द का लेटर या एप्लीकेशन लिखना होगा| परीक्षा ऑफलाइन ही होगी तथा इस 100 अंको की परीक्षा के लिए आपको 60-60 मिनट मिलेंगे|
