Objective of LTC Cash Voucher Scheme 2023

Major Points of LTC Cash Voucher Yojana 2023
- With LTC Cash Voucher Scheme 2023, the GOI will offer a cash payment to employees in lieu of an LTC during 2018-21 and in which full payment on leave encasement and tax-free payment of LTC rent will go at a 3-flat rate depending on the category of eligibility.
- Workers availing of this scheme will have to spend three times the amount of LTC. They have to buy only those goods which attract 12 percent or above GST and the goods have to be taken only from GST-registered vendors. Apart from this, the invoice of expenses will also have to be shown only then there will be an exemption.
- Also, the central employees will have to spend 10 days of leave encashment. All these expenses will have to be done by March 2023. All expenses and purchase payments should be in digital mode only.
- This scheme of the government is expected to benefit more and more employees. Because that four-year block is ending in 2023, after which LTC will become useless. That means it will not be able to be taken advantage of. Therefore, employees will insist on buying such products, which can be useful for them and their families.
