The Chief Minister of Punjab has started Dr. BR Ambedkar Post Matriculation SC Scholarship Scheme 2023 Online to give SC scholarship certificates to the beneficiaries. It is also said that a skill development center has also been started for Dalit students so that they can prepare themselves for competitive examinations. The Chief Minister of the states has ensured that scheduled caste students will get free higher education. This scheme has been started without any financial contribution from the Central Government. The institution will provide free education to scheduled caste students under subsidized schemes of the state government.
Under this scheme, a 100% fee waiver will be provided to scheduled caste students. In this scheme, 300000 poor students will get the benefit of Rs. 550 crores every year.
