Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has launched a special scheme of its kind for mothers. The Amma Vodi scheme of the Jagan government will help the poor and needy mothers of the state to educate their children. It will provide financial assistance of Rs 15,000 per person per year. Under the scheme, this amount will be put into the account of about 43 lakh mothers in the state for the benefit of 82 lakh children.

YSR AP Amma Vodi Scheme Guidelines 2023 PDF
The Andhra Pradesh Government has released Amma Vodi guidelines for the year 2023 and the guidelines are as follows:-
- Preliminary level action will be taken for the YSR AP Amma Vodi Yojana from December 2023
- All principals need to register students and update their details from December 2023.
- The list of eligible mothers and parents has been enrolled in the Gyan Bhumi portal, which will be given a card issued in December 2023, after review.
- Students whose details are updated in December 2023 will be provided to APCFSS.
- The list of eligible mothers/caregivers will be released in December 2023, based on 6-level criteria.
- Details of all schools advertising from December 2023 can be seen on the notice board and notice board of the village/ward secretariat.
- If there is an error in the student’s Aadhaar number, bank account information, and IFSC code, it will require principals.
- All the objections related to disqualification will be presented to the Collector by the village/ward secretariat. After this, these objections will be addressed by the Joint Collector as per the standard.
- A final list with all corrections to the objections will be released in December 2023.
- Ward / Gram Sabha will approve the final list in December 2023
- By December 2023, the final list is required to be submitted online by the Village / Ward Educational Welfare Assistant.
- The list should be submitted by the Principal to the District Education Officer through the Zonal Education Officer by December 2023.
