About 11 lakh candidates are waiting for the REET teacher recruitment examination. The education department has said that the REET Recruitment will be released soon with complete preparation. The education minister has held a detailed discussion about this recruitment in a meeting with departmental officials. He also said that only one paper would be adopted in REET 2023 3rd Grade Teacher recruitment.
The education department has decided to reduce the weightage by seventy and thirty percent, but the final decision will be taken by the Chief Minister. There is still confusion about the REET 2023 Recruitment as the recruitment for the proposed 31000 posts in the state is constantly being postponed.

REET Level 1 & Level 2 Exam 2023 Latest Update
REET exam is according to the NCTE pattern, therefore there will be no change in its syllabus, the course of REET recruitment will remain the same but its selection process will be changed slightly. There will be no change in the process of REET recruitment level first but 2nd level For reducing the weightage and a new paper is being considered. The syllabus of the reet level second is also the same but the weightage will be either reduced or eliminated or a separate paper is being considered.

REET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
REET Level 1 Eligibility (Class 1 to 5)
| You must have qualified 10+2 with at least 50% marks and also have done 2-year D.EL.ED (Diploma in Elementary Education). OR You must have attained 50% marks in Senior Secondary and done 4-year B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education). OR You must have completed a two-year Diploma in Special Education and acquired at least 50% marks aggregate in the Senior Secondary exam. OR Those who are Undergraduate and have done a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education D.El.Ed can also apply for the REET. |
REET Level 2 Eligibility For (Class 6 to 8)
| An applicant must have done Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR An applicant must have done the Graduation along with 1-year of B.Ed course OR You must have done 10+2 with at least 50% marks along with a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education OR You must have passed 12th or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and acquired a 4-year bachelor’s degree in B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed B.A/B.Sc.Ed. |
