Ever since the emergence of such camps, it had a decent history until the infamous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.factnwit.com\/trails-carolina-horror-stories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Trails Carolina &#8220;investigation&#8221;<\/strong><\/a> was widespread. More precisely, many complaints by both ex-employees and participants have come forth against the poor regulations of the camp. Be it the ill-treatment of staff, intentionally harming others, pathetic outdoor conditions, wild animals surrounding the space, or poor sanitation \u2014 the camp&#8217;s hostility is endless.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About Trails Carolina &#8220;inquiry&#8221;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">While wilderness therapy programs are focused on helping teenagers, trails Carolina horror stories suggest something else. Well, this camp which was meant for the betterment of participants, is accused of many horrific tales. Initially, it was Linda, an ex-employer, who shared how ill-mannered the staff were towards her as well as the participants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Another ex-volunteer claims that she was intentionally punched and physically abused by a worker. But that&#8217;s not all because as per the other volunteer, she was asked to run without any breaks, which eventually made her pass out. Meanwhile, one more case of cruelty surfaced when a girl said she was forced to hike, despite being ill. Even the ones who got hurt while hiking were neglected and did not receive any medical care.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The actual problem is seen within the employees of Trail Carolina. To be more precise, many negative whereabouts that get out in public point specifically at problematic employees. Some have said that staff would often publicly humiliate and threaten them. At the same time, a few staff would even go to the extent where participants were made to cut all contact with their families. And not to forget the most upsetting incident, where fewer portions of meals than usual were served to participants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Trails Carolina &#8220;inquiry&#8221;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) have prompted an inquiry. With time, it will be clear if the allegations made were true in any way. And suppose the camp is found guilty, necessary actions will be taken. Well, the investigation is still ongoing, while many new horrific tales continue to be released to the public. Meanwhile, Trail Carolina has also been questioned as to why the camp failed to officially report any wrongdoings.&nbsp;This investigation also has some key findings, such as health and safety violations within the camp.
